ConvoSuite is a Chrome and Edge extension that adds a CRM panel to WhatsApp Web. This page says what information we collect, what we do with it, and how to get it deleted.
ConvoSuite is run by its owner from Panipat, Haryana. We are not a registered company or LLP yet. When that changes we will update this page and say who runs ConvoSuite.
We try to follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its rules come into force.
The short version
Your CRM data stays on your computer. We never get your contacts, notes, invoices or chats. What we do get is your WhatsApp number, your business name and a few technical details, because we need them to run your free trial and check your plan. We don't sell any of it.
What stays on your computer
ConvoSuite reads your WhatsApp Web screen inside your browser to show chat tabs, labels and lead stages. Everything you build on top of that is saved in the extension on your computer, and none of it is sent to us:
- contacts, lead stages, deal values, notes and reminders;
- orders, invoices, payment requests, products and saved replies;
- broadcast lists, scheduled messages, automations, auto replies and settings;
- backup files, which go to your Downloads folder when you export one or turn on automatic backup.
If you remove the extension or clear its data, this is gone. Keep a backup if you want it.
What we get from you
| When | What we get | What we use it for |
|---|---|---|
| You start the free trial, or the extension checks your plan | Your WhatsApp number, business or profile name, an ID for your computer, the extension version, and your trial and plan dates | Starting your trial, checking your plan, limiting each plan to the computers it covers, and stopping misuse |
| You use the support form in the extension | Your number, name, your message (up to 2,000 characters), the version, and technical details about the problem | Answering you and fixing the problem |
| You pay | The amount, date, UPI reference and the screenshot you send us | Confirming the payment, switching your plan on, and keeping the records tax law asks for |
| You post in our Telegram group, on our Facebook page, or in the feedback form | Whatever you write, and whatever those services show us about your account | Support and feedback |
| You open this website | Our host, Cloudflare, sees your IP address and browser type in order to send you the page. We use no ads and no analytics. Your language choice is saved in your browser only. | Showing you the site |
You agree to this when you start the trial, write to support or pay. You can take that back at any time (see "Your rights" below), though we may then not be able to keep your plan running.
We don't want passwords, card or bank numbers, health details or ID numbers, so please don't send them. When you pay by UPI, that happens in your own UPI app. We never see your PIN.
Things you switch on yourself
AI features. If you add your own API key for Google Gemini, Groq or OpenAI, the text or voice note you ask the AI to work on goes from your computer straight to that company. Their terms and privacy policy apply. We don't see it.
Webhooks. If you set one up, the contact, note, reminder, payment, order or broadcast details you pick are sent to the web address you typed in.
Your customers' data
The people you chat with are your customers, and what you save about them in ConvoSuite is yours. You decide how to use it, so you are the one who has to get consent where the law asks for it, and to stop messaging people who tell you to stop. ConvoSuite has an opt-out option for broadcasts to help. We don't read your chats or your CRM data.
Who else sees your data
We don't sell personal data. It reaches other people only in these cases:
- We use Google (a Google Sheet and Apps Script for plans and support, and Google Forms for feedback), Cloudflare for this website, and Telegram and Meta for our group and page. Some of their servers are outside India.
- We hand it over if a law or a court order says we must.
- If ConvoSuite is later run by a company or LLP, your data moves to it, under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your plan and support records while you use ConvoSuite. After that we keep them only as long as we need to answer questions, settle a dispute or meet tax and accounting rules, and then we delete them. If you ask us to delete your data, we will, except for payment records that the law makes us keep.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also name someone to act for you if you die or can't act. Send your request to the Grievance Officer below and tell us the WhatsApp number you use with ConvoSuite. We may ask you to confirm it's yours before we show or delete anything. We reply within 48 hours and aim to finish within one month.
Keeping it safe
Plan and support records sit in a Google Sheet that only the owner can open, and everything travels over HTTPS. We collect little, so there is little to lose. If your personal data is ever exposed, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
ConvoSuite is for people running a business. It is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
When we change this page we update the date at the top. If the change affects what we collect or why, we also post it in the Telegram group.
Contact and complaints
For questions, requests or complaints about your data, write to our Grievance Officer. We reply within 48 hours and settle complaints within one month.
